Flight test crew for the Jet Assisted Take-Off (JATO)
experimental solid rocket booster. It was later refered to as RATO (Rocket
Assisted Take-Off).
From left to right are: F.S. Miller, J.W. Parsons, E.S.
Foreman, Dr. Frank J. Malina, Capt. Homer A. Boushey Jr.
Pvt. Kobe and Cpl. R. Hamilton.
