NACA Standard Insignia
Full Description
On April 24, 1941, at the semi-annual meeting of the National Advisory
Committee for Aeronautics, the official NACA Standard Seal was approved
to be used on buildings under construction. The insignia portrayed a
shield with a wing on either side and the letters "NACA" inscribed
across it.
