Full Description
The massive magnetic core of the Space Radiation Effects Laboratory's
Synchrocyclotron at NASA's Langley Research Center. The 3000 ton (6
million pound), 36' x 21'x 19.5' assembly of forged steel serves as the
heart of the 600 million electron volt, high energy proton accelerator.
