Recovery of Gemini V Booster
Full Description
Recovery of part of the first stage of NASA’s Gemini V
Booster, the first to ever be retrieved from space was made by
the U.S.S. Dupont. The booster was used to launch the Gemini V
Spacecraft from Cape Kennedy, Florida, and re-entered the
earth's atmosphere 450 miles N.E. of Cape Kennedy.
