Hermann Noordung
Full Description
Hermann Potocnik (1892-1929), also known as Herman Noordung, was
an engineer in the Austrian army. Noordung wrote Das Problem der
Befahrung des Weltraums (The Problem of Space Travel:The Rocket
Motor) (1929), an early work on spaceflight. He also created the
first detailed technical drawings of a space station.
